Republic Day (South Sudan) [28th of December]

A Republic Day is the name of a holiday in several countries to commemorate the day when they became republics. In some countries, it is known as National Day or Proclamation Day, or by some other sort of name.

On 28 December 2012, the South Sudanese president declared the country a republic nation.
